Double Header Electric Trimmer Warranty Terms and ConditionsUpdated a year ago

1. LIMITED ONE-YEAR WARRANTY.

Dollar Shave Club, Inc. (“Dollar Shave Club”, “we,” “our,” or “us”) warrants to the person who originally purchased the product (“you”), that the Dollar Shave Club Double Header Electric Trimmer (the “Product”) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and if cared for in accordance with the instructions, for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase (the “Warranty Period”), subject to the below conditions (the “Limited Warranty”). 

 

If a defect occurs as the result of the Product’s intended use and in accordance with the Product’s care instructions during the Warranty Period, Dollar Shave Club will either replace the defective Product or part and return it to you free of charge, or refund you the amount paid for the Product, subject to Section 4 below.

IMPORTANT: This Limited Warranty does not cover the following items: face and body trimmer guards, USB charging cable, charging stand, cleaning brush, oil, and travel bag. This Limited Warranty also does not cover defects caused by or resulting from: (a) accidents, misuse, abuse, tampering, negligence, shipping damage, or lack of reasonable care, (b) unauthorized third-party modifications, repairs, replacement parts, or accessories, (c) failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance, including recharging, or (d) lost or stolen Products. Scratches, normal wear and tear, and the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use are not warranted. We may not be able to replace limited edition or discontinued Products. If not, we will replace these Products with an equivalent model based on availability. We may make changes to products and designs in the time you purchased your Product and submitted a warranty claim. Products replaced under this Limited Warranty may or may not incorporate these changes. 

 

2. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER.

There are no express warranties other than the LIMITED WARRANTY provided herein, and Dollar Shave Club expressly disclaims all warranties and conditions not stated in this LIMITED WARRANTY. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. 

 

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, WHETHER FOR BREACH OF WARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, OR OTHER TORT, OR ANY STRICT LIABILITY THEORY, WILL DOLLAR SHAVE CLUB BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. 

 

This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. 

 

This Limited Warranty is only available in the United States. No Dollar Shave Club reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this Limited Warranty. This Limited Warranty does not apply if you purchased your Product other than from our website or an authorized Dollar Shave Club retailer.

 

3. WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS.

In order to approve your warranty claim under the Limited Warranty outlined above, the following conditions must be met: 

 

  1. All requests must be made directly to us at [email protected] within one (1) year from the date of original purchase;
  2. You must have purchased the Product from DollarShaveClub.com or an authorized Dollar Shave Club retailer; 
  3. You must provide proof of your Product purchase, a description (including photographs, if applicable) of the defect, and any other information reasonably requested by us, including as outlined here
  4. You must have used the Product only as intended and in accordance with the Product’s care instructions; and
  5. If requested, you must return the Product or part(s) to Dollar Shave Club according to our instructions, and by using only the shipping methods as prescribed by us.

4. REFUND REQUESTS.

If you would like to request a refund under this Limited Warranty in lieu of replacement, you may do so subject to the below, provided you satisfy the conditions outlined in Section 3 above. All refunds will be processed promptly following our receipt of your returned Product.

 

DollarShaveClub.com Purchases: If you purchased the Product from DollarShaveClub.com, promptly following our receipt of your returned Product, we will credit the amount paid for the returned Product to the credit, debit, or other DSC-accepted payment method (“Payment Method”) you used to make the original purchase. Notwithstanding the foregoing, DSC does not control when a specific credit card or payment method company processes a chargeback transaction. You are responsible for contacting your payment method company if you have questions about the status of the chargeback.

 

If you purchased the Product using PayPal and submit a refund request more than 180 days after purchasing the Product, we will instead, at our option, provide you with (a) a Dollar Shave Club Gift Card or (b) Dollar Shave Club credits into your Member account, in each case in the amount paid for the returned Product. 

 

Authorized Retailer Purchases: If you purchased the Product from an authorized Dollar Shave Club retailer and would like to request a refund from us instead of from said retailer, we will provide you with a Dollar Shave Club Gift Card in the amount paid for the returned Product (less any shipping and handling costs/fees related to the original purchase, which are non-refundable). All Dollar Shave Club Gift Cards are subject to our Gift Card Terms and Conditions. We may instead credit the amount paid for the returned Product (less any shipping and handling costs/fees related to the original purchase, which are non-refundable) to your bank account via an ACH transfer, provided you provide us with your bank account information.


All refunds outside the scope of this Limited Warranty are subject to our 30-day money back guarantee. Please see Section 3.6 of our Terms for details.
